Cakes & Cakes is a 12-year-old Cake Bakery and Cake Bakery Training Academy business that we have acquired as part of our mission to develop and manage exceptional local brands with growth potential.

Since the acquisition, we have embarked on a journey to restructure the business into a multi-unit B2B and B2C cake retail brand, with the Cake Bakery Training Academy as a key component to unlock significant value and make a positive social impact in line with Kenya’s TVET strategy.

Our scalable growth model is built on customer-centricity, a two-pronged revenue model of Cake Retail & Cake Academy, consistent product quality, quantity, and price, seamless customer experience driven by tech and processes, and strong local context and adaptability.

With our vision of building an authentic commercially relevant Kenyan cake brand, we plan to expand our footprint by increasing our physical locations in Nairobi and Kenyan urban centres, followed by East-African urban centres.
